Our office is located on the main floor of the house and gets quite a bit of use.
It isn't a very big room - roughly 12' x 12'. The file cabinet and a couple of chairs sit directly across from the front of the desk. I still want to make a couple of pillows for the chairs.
I've had these chairs for years and had them recovered in one of the the same fabrics that I used in the window treatment.
The window treatment was very simple to make. It's called the Moroccan Valance and the pattern is available for purchase from M'fay Patterns.
I used the same money saving solution for drapery hardware for this window treatment that I showed you in my master bedroom.
Here's a straight-on shot of the hutch that sits on top of the credenza, just in case you'd like to get a better look at how I've accessorized it.
I'll leave you with one last shot taken from a different angle. You might be able to tell that we get a lot of natural light in this room in the afternoon.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this little tour.
