I am up to my eyeballs in all of this stuff!
I'm struggling with my mojo trying to do some fall decorating.
There's little bits of stuff all over the floor.
Diva Dog told me she wants you to see her favorite toy. See it right in front of the chair? She and Ferocious Guard Dog fight over it all the time.
This isn't anywhere near all of it. I forgot to take pictures of the stuff spread over the living room, dining room and kitchen.
I've been working on my mantle for two days and I still don't like it all that much.
The only little vignette I've completed is on the chest in the foyer.
The only reason this one is completed is because all I did was add the fall leaves on sticks and the little pumpkin box.
I hope to have more to show you next week.
I want to know - am I the only one who tears up their house to decorate?

My house is turned upside down at Christmas time, sorting through 9 large bins of decorations! I've never embraced fall decorating to any great extent. Typically, the changes I make are limited to the addition of warmth throws, scenting the house with cinnamon and nutmeg, lighting candles and turning on the fireplaces.

I do the same thing! One time I thought if I just looked at pics from the year before...just copy what was in each tablescape...,but noooo....that would be too simple!Still dragged everything all over the house!!lOL!

No....you are not the only one. It is a LOT of work to get ready for the seasons and holidays. It will be worth it when you get it done...enjoy it! Then comes Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone, I have these large plastic tubs stacked up, I started to take out some things, but it is still warm and everything is still green, and while I feel so inspired after visiting Blogland, I don't have my mojo yet. xo
