Money Saving, Space Saving Headboard Solution

Just thought I'd share a great idea that I stumbled across the other day over at Metal and Mud.  Just maybe there's someone else like me who's been living under a rock and hasn't seen this already.  ;o)

It is a headboard that is simply made by attaching fabric to the wall.  Metal and Mud used a product called Stiffen Stuff, which can be purchased at Michaels.

Head over to Metal and Mud for a full tutorial.  It looks really easy!

Please share if any of you have tried this.  I'd love to see!

    1. I think that's a great idea! Your guest room isn't that large, so this would work well.

  3. Suzy,

Thanks so much for featuring my project on your blog! I'm actually in the process of moving, and had to take down the headboard this weekend. :( But not only did it come down without ANY damage to the wall (not one flake of paint came off), but the headboard itself is still in perfect condition, and can be used again!

  4. I have never heard of metal and mud... I'm just now peeking out from under my rock LOL! What a great idea!!! It looks nice. Its cool that you can move it without it being damaged. I get tired of things easily! I love change! Too bad my stove and fridge can't be moved around or they would be :)
