Ready or not, here it comes y'all - Thanksgiving that is!
No matter how much planning and preparation I do ahead for Thanksgiving, the one thing that I never remember to do is to create place cards for everyone.
It's too late by the time that I think about it, so inevitably, everyone is stopping me to ask where they should sit as my harried self is pulling the last bits of dinner together.
Hoping to avoid that problem this year, I've put together a roundup of
simple to do, yet wow-worthy place cards to inspire me.
Enjoy!
I think I may go with the acorn and leaf tags since I already have quite a few acorns that I painted last year.
Do you use place cards at Thanksgiving? When do you start setting your table?

ReplyDeleteI'll translate those over into Christmas table holders this year..
Suzy,
ReplyDeleteI love these. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, we have a very traditional dinner. I'm going to try one of these! Thanks for the great ideas that are doable!
I love all of these. Can't wait to use some of them - not just for Thanksgiving but for any Fall dinner party.

I love all of them especially the clothes pin! I don't use placecards at family gatherings because to be honest nobody would probably set where they were supposed to anyway! LOL!
ReplyDeletelove the one with real leaves...as my girls love to pick up leaves wherever we go :)
ReplyDeleteI like to use place cards as I think it shows guests that you've set a spot just for them. ;-) So thank you for sharing these ideas. I've used leaves and written the name on the leaf with a gold or silver paint pen. This week I show a table where I used mini grapevine wreaths for the place card and sent it home with the guest as a party favor. Easy to do and only a $ for the wreath at the $ Store. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photography! Very beautiful fall colours. Warm and cozy setting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)
