Can I tell you something?
I've never participated in a Secret Santa gift exchange before.
And can I tell you something else?
Shhh - it's a secret though. While growing up, I was always a little envious of the "popular girls" who got to have a Secret Santa. But my adult self eventually got over it. sniff sniff
So try to imagine my delight when Julie Urtel Fiato, the author of Redhead Can Decorate, put out the call to a group of bloggers to see if anyone would be interested in participating in a Secret Santa gift exchange! Wha? Wha?
I jumped right on that and felt like a little kid again while waiting for my package to arrive!
When the big day finally arrived and the mailman placed the much anticipated package in my mailbox, I was over the moon excited to find out the identity of my very special Secret Santa.
It was none other than the awesome
You can see that I had an little eager beaver just itching to help me open my package. What is in there????
Ohhhh...look! It's sooo beautiful!
I knew right off the bat what I wanted to do with it.
The gold star that I had on the top of my Silver Bells Christmas tree never seemed quite right. It just didn't show up.
But look at it now!
It's perfectly perfect. :o)
So I'm extending a huge heartfelt "Thank You!" to you Julie and to you Mary Beth for making an overgrown kid's long forgotten dream come true!
Let's do it again next year!
;o)
